Our purpose
Why we serve
To educate, encourage, and support our members in regaining, gaining, and maintaining healthy lifestyle choices, grounded in the belief that physical wellness honors the body God has given us.
Ministries
Caring for the whole person, body, mind, and spirit
The Health Ministry is composed of members who volunteer to educate and promote health awareness and healing within our congregation. Our focus is to support the physical, nutritional, and emotional wellness of the whole person.
“I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
3 John 1:2
Our purpose
To educate, encourage, and support our members in regaining, gaining, and maintaining healthy lifestyle choices, grounded in the belief that physical wellness honors the body God has given us.
Our goals
To raise health awareness across the congregation, to make wellness practical and accessible regardless of age or ability, and to walk alongside one another through seasons of illness and recovery.
How we serve
Quarterly blood pressure, glucose, and wellness checks held after Sunday service, open to members and the surrounding community.
Workshops on cooking for chronic conditions, reading nutrition labels, and meal planning for tighter budgets.
Coordinated visits to members recovering at home or in the hospital, with meals, prayer, and practical support.
