Ministries

Deaconess

The Deaconess Ministry serves the church by supporting the pastor and deacons, caring for members, and ministering to the spiritual and practical needs of women and families within the congregation.

“I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church at Cenchreae.”

Romans 16:1 (NIV)

Our purpose

Why we serve

This ministry exists to demonstrate Christ's love through service, compassion, and spiritual encouragement. Deaconesses help care for church members, assist with church ordinances and special services, and provide support where needed throughout the congregation.

Our goals

What we work toward

We are working toward a church family that is cared for, connected, and growing in faith. Success looks like members feeling supported, women being encouraged in their walk with Christ, and the ministry faithfully serving wherever God provides opportunities.

What the ministry does

Congregational Care and Support

Deaconesses visit, encourage, and pray with members who are sick, shut-in, grieving, or in need of spiritual support while assisting with church services and ordinances.
